Chicken of Tomorrow is a "beauty" pageant based on the USDA's actual 1948 nationwide search for an efficient and economical chicken that Americans would buy because it looked good and could buy because it was finally affordable. It's like Miss America, but instead of swimsuits and evening wear, contestants will present their Incubating, Hatched, and Slaughterhouse looks. A panel of farmers will judge the contestants and ultimately crown Waif Magazine's 2019 Chicken of Tomorrow.
